A short, Lovecraftian metroidvania. Created for Metroidvania Month 13.

Note: This game requires WebGL 2.0 and makes heavy use of lighting and particle effects, which can have lead to performance issues or other oddities on some machines. If the web build gives you trouble, try a downloadable build.

WEB BUG: when keyboard focus is lost it becomes impossible to regain it without reloading the page, which seems to reset the game.

Thanks for reporting this bug. I'll take a look at patching it. There's currently no save feature implemented, so sorry about you losing your game. I may also look at integrating that while I'm in the codebase.

Potential bug, I died after breaking a couple of the crystals and they regenerated, but now it seems the ones I broke are invulnerable? Went through my whole clip on one and it still didn't break... Love the game overall though!!

Thanks for the bug report! I'll need to look into that issue. Glad you had a good time with it otherwise!

(1 edit)

would be nice if I were to regain my powers after passing the "warden of blood" in the other direction.
anna say: I went in there, obviously lost me powers and literally died of fall damamge after that first tiny step. back to initial camp site but still without any powers.
Guess my powers are lost forever now :-(

better should have taken the highly suspicous right side path :-/

wtf

the game
